The end of the world, fearsomely rendered in terrible graphics! Does it remind you of finals? Or your life? Or your dorm-mate's hairdo?
“This is the way the world ends, this is the way the world ends, this is the way the world ends: not with a bang, but a whimper” — T.S. Elliot
Exams aren’t the end of the world. There are lots of ways to conquer exam stress and recover one’s-self to a state of chill. Unfortunately, none of those ways will be discussed on this blog. Instead, I will refer you to a number of great articles on other blogs.
Hack college recently published this post on how to survive your finals hell week. It elaborates on five great steps to getting through the inferno unscathed.
Collegethrive—which is a fantastic college advice blog—has also created an article on getting through exams (when you’re unprepared). It actually links to another article on the subject over at starfoile.com. Collegethrive also has two other previous articles on facing exams which can be found here and here.
Over at SurvivingCollegeLife blog one can find even more exam-busting tips.
Four score and many years ago I also wrote on this topic. My most recent take can be found here (disclaimer: take my advice at your own peril). I also wrote another post on this many eons ago which can be found here.
Anyway, I agree with Anthony Sacramone when he said “I say let’s have our apocalypse and move on.”
